Trend Micro is all set to host CLOUDSEC2021, the leading global cloud and cybersecurity conference themed Reimagine Your Cloud, that will take place virtually from 16th – 18th November 2021.
The conference aims to provide an opportunity for attendees to embark on a thought-provoking journey:
- Day 1 will kick off with keynotes delivered by global technology influencers, including AWS, ESG, Pearson, Snyk, an investigative journalist from New York Times, and more
- Day 2 will focus on region-specific discussions and insights, where local experts and leaders share their market observations and upcoming trends. For the Middle East and North Africa agenda, the opening keynote, “MENA’s State of Digital Transformation and The Evolving Threat Landscape”, will be delivered by Bilal Baig, Technical Director, MENA, Trend Micro, and will cover the array of challenges faced by regional organizations across industries – lack of visibility, remote and hybrid working models, exposed networks, cloud environments, unscreened endpoints, and more – as they continue their digital transformation journeys. Other Day Two talks include sessions by Trend Micro experts that cover topics from DPR and XDR to cloud banking and compliance
- Day 3 will feature a 24-hour, capture-the-flag-style hands-on technical challenge called the #CLOUDSEC_Challenge, where players need to clear three categories of challenges – DevOps, SOC, and Hacker – to win prizes and street credibility.
CLOUDSEC 2021 also features five learning paths designed for the attendees to have a deeper dive into the technologies discussed during the event. The learning paths are SOC, Infrastructure-as-code, DevOps, Zero Trust, and Threat Intel. Speakers from Trend Micro and various organisations will share best practices and tips on approaching security differently.
“Organisations today have an imperative task to re-calibrate their security posture and combat the modern-day threats,” said “Dr. Moataz Bin Ali, Vice President and Managing Director, Trend Micro Middle East and North Africa. “We look forward to bringing platforms like the CLOUDSEC that not only help create awareness about the critical pillars of enterprise security but also act as a knowledge hub that guides companies in reimagining security from all possible aspects in the times to come”.
CLOUDSEC 2021 marks the 10th year of the much-anticipated industry summit. Founded in 2011, the conference has shown staggering growth over the decade, culminating in the 2020 edition attracting more than 270 speakers and over 10,000 attendees.
