Sophos is showcasing its newest cybersecurity innovations at GITEX 2021, including Sophos XDR, the industry’s only extended detection and response (XDR) solution that synchronises native endpoint, server, firewall, and email security, along with Sophos Firewall, and the Sophos Adaptive Cybersecurity Ecosystem (ACE).
“We are happy to be back at GITEX Technology Week 2021. Our team is looking forward to meeting customers and partners from around the region in person at the event. GITEX is always a huge platform to showcase our latest cybersecurity innovations, increase our brand visibility and strengthen our Middle East channel and business opportunities,” said Harish Chib, Vice President, Middle East and Africa.
“Sophos’ Active Adversary Playbook 2021 details attacker behaviours and their tools, techniques and procedures (TTPs) that lead to attacks such as ransomware. More than 80% of the attacks Sophos investigated in 2020 and early 2021 involved ransomware.”
He added that at GITEX, the firm plans to educate regional organisations that the only way to combat sophisticated cyberattacks is to invest in a proactive and layered cybersecurity approach.
“We plan to advise, guide and support our customers and partners to build three pillars of protection: prevention, detection and response, through our latest innovations in advanced cybersecurity solutions, as well as services from Sophos’ Managed Threat and Response (MTR) and Rapid Response (RR) teams.”
Sophos’ XDR provides a holistic view of an organisation’s environment with a highly extensive data set and deep analysis for threat detection, investigation and response. The new Sophos Firewall features industry leading Transport Layer Security (TLS) inspection, including native support for TLS 1.3, that is up to five times faster than other models available on the market today. Sophos’ Adaptive Cybersecurity Ecosystem brings together the power of Sophos’ threat intelligence, data lake, APIs, and Sophos Central management platform, creating an adaptive security environment that constantly learns and improves.
Sophos is exhibiting with its distributor Naizak at stand A20 in Hall 1. Customers and partners can visit the booth and meet with senior representatives and cybersecurity experts from both companies to learn more about how Sophos’ innovative solutions solve and defend against today’s constantly changing security challenges.
