Riverbed has appointed Mark Jopling as Senior Vice President (SVP) Sales of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Jopling will be responsible for the company’s sales strategy and go-to-market execution in EMEA and will ensure closer engagement with existing customers, deeper penetration into key industry sectors as well as generate new business opportunities with strategic partners. Jopling will report to Andy Elder, Senior Vice President and Chief Sales Officer at Riverbed.

Jopling joins Riverbed from Lloyds Banking Group and has previously held senior positions in BT, Nokia and Vodafone.
