Can you provide an overview of your flagship products or solutions being showcased at this year’s Gitex?
Crowdstrike Falcon Platform has evolved from an endpoint detection and response solution to a fully integrated XDR platform, combining endpoint security, threat intelligence, exposure management and identity protection. This year’s focus in GITEX is around exposure management, a market that is ripe for disruption. Crowdstrike existing XDR customers will be able to expand platform use towards vulnerability management, compliance benchmarking, and external attack surface management, from the same console, and we are very excited about this product announcement.
How does your product address specific challenges or needs of your customers?
Crowdstrike platform is purpose-built to stop breaches. From an outcome perspective, this puts us in a unique position to solve customer pain. So many organisations today, are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on disjointed solutions and hiring expensive resources or outsourced services to manage dozens of agents and consoles, with very low efficacy, that leads them to becoming headline news for the wrong reasons. Crowdstrike handles the problem head on, and keeps security teams ahead of the adversary, at scale, and fast, as every second matters in today’s very sophisticated threat landscape.
What sets your product apart from competitors in terms of innovation, features, or technology?
Being ranked number 1 in IDC Worldwide Endpoint Security Market Share does speak a lot of our customers high trust in our capabilities. Thru a true cloud-native platform, and a light-weight agent that covers the different OS flavours and environments, Crowdstrike proactively protects the entire customer estate, with equal parity and capability, by leveraging AI and behavioral analytics that has been battle tested for many years already. Our platform has a unique access to an unmatched data set of telemetry, at the rate of 2 trillion events per day, and is combined by the world’s most advanced threat intelligence capabilities. This allows us to get better at protecting our customers every single day, by simply seeing what others miss.
Can you highlight any recent advancements or updates that make your offering particularly exciting?
Innovation is the driving force behind Crowdstrike growing from a single module few years back, to 23 and counting today. When we look at adding modules, we are associating it with solving direct customer problems, and making their consolidation journey easier on our platform. Our recent additions include an upgraded exposure management offering, extended identity protection and log management. But perhaps the number one update that is causing such a large stir and hype in the market, is the launch of our generative AI Chatbot, Charlotte, the force multiplier of security teams, so stay tuned for more.
Are you collaborating with any other companies or partners to enhance the value of your products?
As a channel-first global organisation, we continuously invest in both our reseller/MSP ecosystem, as well as technology integration partners. For example, at this year’s GITEX, our META sales team is deployed in our distributors’ booths, as we position our platform in conjunction with other security products that customers require. At a wider scale, we are on the journey of building robust and varied tech integrations, as well as onboard new technology providers to build apps on top of our platform, thru our recent launch of Falcon Foundry. More to come on this topic soon.
How does your product fit into the broader tech ecosystem or industry trends?
Consolidation is top-of-mind for security leaders today, and this trend is only going to intensify in the coming years. We see this trend as a major opportunity for our customers to consolidate on our platform, as the main XDR tool for their SOC, where the wider security ecosystem that we do not offer, such as email security, web gateway, firewall and network security, can feed the data into Falcon Platform, thru our very wide range of tech integrations, and this is a major win for Crowdstrike customers.
