Nutanix kicks off GITEX with a strong year despite the challenges of the pandemic. With organisations and businesses looking into work-from-home solutions, Nutanix has been busy helping them shift into the digital space, which has proved to be beneficial for the company.
At GITEX, Nutanix is showcasing solutions across three categories that include cloud, end-user computing, and database. The firm has designed these technologies to work seamlessly together to help build a cyber-resilient IT infrastructure for businesses and organisations.
“In-person events like GITEX are still the best way to meet and engage with customers. Nothing will replace face-to-face interaction,” said Paulo Pereira, Senior Director, Systems Engineering – METI at Nutanix. “It is difficult to have the same level of interaction with customers, colleagues, and partners if you’re on a video call.” True to that statement, Pereira expressed enthusiasm for the crowd at GITEX, which bears a similar resemblance to the 2019 edition, before the pandemic started.
Pereira said that investing in cloud computing is critical if businesses want to accelerate to the digital era.
“Nutanix can help customers remove the complexity of cloud and create an invisible infrastructure supporting their evolving requirements,” he said. “Cloud technologies also come with concerns on security. However, Nutanix has existing solutions and partnerships to deal with such scenarios, along with ongoing efforts that aim to educate people on the importance of keeping their logins secure.”
Over the coming months, Nutanix will continue to focus on reaching out to more customers as it emphasises on the message of simplicity for its solutions. “We enable customers to deal with the complexities of IT in an elegant and simple way. The market has been highly receptive to our solutions and we will continue to innovate and offer world-class solutions,” concluded Pereira.
