Microsoft has announced that Network International, digital payments firm in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, will now provide its omni-channel platform N-Genius Online through the trusted, secure Azure cloud to empower e-commerce companies across the region with access to advanced digital-payments services.
“We are pleased to strengthen our N-Genius Online gateway through Microsoft’s Azure cloud services,” said Andrew Key, President, Merchants and Government, Network International. “The Middle East e-commerce segment was already showing tremendous growth prior to the onset of the pandemic. That growth has significantly accelerated due to the surge in online shopping brought about by lockdowns. Never has there been a greater need for secure, hassle-free digital payments in the region. Through our continuous investments in technology, N-Genius Online remains a market-leading solution for regional merchants aiming to build a robust online-retail presence that consumers can trust.”
Network International serves more than 200 financial institutions and over 80,000 merchants in over 50 countries. Its N-Genius platform delivers comprehensive oversight of all the payment transactions within an enterprise, while offering the agility to build peerless customer experiences. The platform stays up-to-date with payment trends, increasing merchants’ acceptance capabilities. Mobility and security are central to its design, which is why consumers and merchants remain protected by enhanced payment screening, authentication and data storage.
“Microsoft’s mission is to empower every individual and organisation on the planet to achieve more, and we are delighted to be joining forces with Network International to empower enterprises in the UAE,” said Mohammed Areff, Head of Microsoft Cloud Solutions, Microsoft UAE. “Our partnership with Network International will allow us to integrate world-class omni-channel payment-processing capabilities within our Azure business, enabling our customers to easily and securely adopt the latest in payment technology with ease and peace of mind.”
Combining its strengths with those of Microsoft, the company will offer digital payments, gateway access – including mobile, e-commerce and Point of Sale – and card processing services hosted on Microsoft’s Azure-based cloud regions. The collaboration between Microsoft and Network International will allow the provision of an omni-channel capability, delivering flexibility to consumers and businesses alike.
