Global business and unified communications leader Mitel highlighted its close collaboration with Huawei at the recently concluded flagship event Huawei Middle East IP Club Carnival 2021.
As a prominent event exhibitor, Mitel leadership along with other global and regional industry veterans gathered to discuss the next-generation trends and technologies shaping the future of IP networking.
Mitel executives also showcased how its pioneering IP Telephony and Mobility innovations integrated with Huawei’s IdeaHub Smart Office platform can empower customers and partners to leverage the opportunities and benefits of smart workplaces.
Feras Zeidan, Regional Director at Mitel MEA, said, “Mitel provides unique collaboration solution values including universal access, lowest cost in industry per user per month, open integration plug-inns with existing business applications and end-to-end secure communication.”
During the event, Eng. Arnel Teylan, Technical Support Specialist at Mitel MEA, demonstrated over 50 live Mitel integrations on Huawei Idea Hub. Attendees had the opportunity to experience the power of Mitel’s MiVoice Office PBX with MOMA mobility UC application integrated with Huawei’s IdeaHub’s video conferencing, smartboard, conferencing and projection functionalities.
Teylan explained that Mitel’s MOMA collaboration application operates on cloud and requires no hardware to run and manage, yet it is part of the standard telephony system that sits on-prem.
“This hybrid deployment, i.e. – telephony on-prem + collaboration on cloud – saves lots of time, money and energy while giving secure universal access, including integration with any Smart Office kit in use like Huawei’s IdeaHub,” he added.
The combination of Mitel’s IP Telephony and Mobility innovations with Huawei’s IdeaHub offers unique value for customers. Businesses can significantly advance their team communications, boost productivity, economize on additional infrastructure and save time when merging business mobility with existing office assets.
Zeidan said, “Besides seamless collaborations on fast networks, customers are also able to greatly reduce IT resources required to manage an out-of-box solution like ours. Mitel’s MiVoice Telephony and MOMA collaboration application combined with Huawei’s IdeaHub provides a superior first-class hub for video conferencing, smartboard, telephony and contact center applications integration and project functionalities.”
In addition to voice and video mobility integration with Huawei IdeaHub, the Smart Office Initiative also combines customer on-site PoC initiatives with special bundle offers for joint partners, which includes in-depth training.
“Mitel and Huawei boast a channel-first solutions eco-partnership that empowers and enables both partner networks with tested and integrated end-to-end solutions,” Teylan said.
“Our combined solutions offering is designed and tested by both vendors and further strengthened with trainings, demos and professional services, making it a one-stop-shop for all IT, IP and UC/CC partners.”
Mitel has recently signed a new partnership with the regional distributor Enterprise Systems. The value-added distributor will co-own the channel development value proposition and wrap it with trainings, technical certifications, access to tools and services.
“The partner ecosystem can capitalise on the strengths of both vendors and purchase the combined solution from same UAE Distributor. Dedicated teams from Mitel, Huawei and Enterprise Systems are always on-call to showcase and demo any project,” he added.
Channel partners can maximise features such as price and logistics bundling, upselling new values and getting a step closer to developing proprietary software and enhanced services revenue.
Zeidan concluded, “Our aim is to play a key role in enabling partners to become application specialists, integration champions and managed services focused. We believe our combined offering with Huawei is an important station for partners to start their software and services journey.”
