HP has launched its new Spectre and Elite lineup that deliver a combination of premium design, leading security, and enhanced performance. The new Spectre lineup is equipped with security features like a privacy camera kill switch that allows users to electrically turn off the webcam when not in use. It is also equipped with optional HP Sure View, an integrated privacy screen to help users avoid prying eyes in public areas.
“Our latest Spectre and Elite innovations deliver an unmistakable sense of style, while also setting new standards for performance, connectivity, and security. From the world’s longest battery life in a quad-core convertible to the world’s smallest and lightest business convertible, HP continues to raise the bar for innovation that enables amazing new PC experiences,” said Anne-Sophie Hadberg, GM and VP EMEA, Personal Systems, HP Inc.
The devices have a battery life of up to 22.5 hours in the Spectre x360 13 and up to 17.5 hours in the Spectre x360 15. Both also have optional gigabit-class 4G LTE on the 13-inch device and ultra-fast Wi-Fi with up to 1 gigabit download speeds. The Spectre x360 15 offers various display options, including an optional 4K touch display or up to 650-nit FHD display – one of the brightest consumer panels in the industry – and up to two Thunderbolt™ 3 ports support dual 5K displays.
The HP EliteBook x360 1040 G5 is a 14-inch diagonal convertible in a 13-inch form factor, designed with a unibody CNC aluminium chassis and an adonized finish. The device features up to 17 hours of battery life, gigabit-class 4G LTE, the optional HP Outdoor Viewable Display with an anti-glare screen and up to 700-nit display, and optional HP Sure View. It also offers optional gigabit-class 4G LTE, 8th Gen Intel Core processors, up to 32 GB of memory, and up to 2 TB of storage – ensuring that the device is up for any small or large task.
Personalizing PCs has never been easier. An HP partnership with Zazzle enables users to create decorative high-quality, laser cut notebook skins for HP Elite notebooks. Businesses can easily display their own brand to customers, while individuals can design their own skin to show off their unique style.
Additionally, HP has two new solutions – designed with security in mind – HP EliteDisplay E243d Docking Monitor offers an alternative to dock-and-monitor solutions with a single USB-A cable or single power-enabled USB-C cable for data and video, as well a pop-up privacy webcam and HP USB Fingerprint Mouse to unlock Windows 10 PC with a single touch.
