Dataiku, the platform for Everyday AI, has announced they are now ISO 27001 certified after meeting criteria and following all cybersecurity best practices to protect the company’s and its customers’ critical data. This is a major milestone to recognise Dataiku’s information security program, which serves as Dataiku’s mechanism to identify, select, maintain, and improve critical information security controls for customers and internal operations.
The ISO 27001 certification is an international standard developed specifically for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), requiring that a company uses a systematic approach to managing sensitive information and ensuring data security to eliminate or minimise the risk of a security breach that could have legal or business continuity implications.
“With GDPR fines reaching $1.1 billion in Q3 2021, it’s no longer a nice to have for our customers, but instead a business imperative that we can help support them in navigating the continuously changing security and privacy landscape through our own cybersecurity initiatives and compliance,” said Daniel Sun, VP of Legal at Dataiku. “Achieving ISO 27001 certification should give our customers confidence that we have them covered and will deliver the best security and experience.”
