Centrify is stressing the importance of zero trust security, showcasing its identity and access management solutions at Gitex Technology Week. Company executives at the event are advocating the new security mandate – ‘never trust, always verify.’
“The concept of Zero Trust seeks to limit the opportunity of an internal threat actor to use the assumed employee credentials and breach other parts of the organization. How this works is that a user is never trusted till both their credentials and device are rigorously verified. Essentially, we are using analytics and machine learning to make security easier and more effective. Gitex further gives us the perfect opportunity to meet with security practitioners as well as clients and channel partners,” says Andy Heather, VP and General Manager EMEA at Centrify.
The company’s next investment will be its move to explore Africa and establish its channel base and direct presence in the continent.
Centrify experts are available at the event to discuss the evolving threat landscape and new security models, and raise awareness about the importance of securing identities and adopting a Zero Trust Security approach to reduce the risks of data breaches.
