Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH) has announced the completion of SmartSec Conference preparations on information security and blockchain in Bahrain, which will be held under the patronage of the Minister of Energy Abdul Hussain Ali Mirza on 4 and 5 September at the Four Seasons Hotel.
The event aims to bring the best of the best international professionals in the field of cybersecurity and blockchain. SmartSec provides attendees with a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the latest trends, innovation, and solutions featured by the international cybersecurity and blockchain community.
The first edition of SmartSec conference is being held in cooperation with Tamkeen Labor Fund, Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA) and sponsorship of NGN. SmartSec brings in its first edition this year representatives from major technology partners from Bahrain, the region and the world, including Aramco, Avanza, Microsoft and oracle along with other internationally known companies of information security and blockchain.
SmartSec will enable its visitors to engage with international experts through focused conference sessions. It is a unique opportunity to network and connect with international experts in cybersecurity and blockchain to know how to defeat cyber threats in business and organisations and how blockchain is changing industries.
The list of those interested to participate in this first technical gathering in the Kingdom of Bahrain includes all government bodies from ministries, bodies and institutions, as well as private sector institutions such as banks, companies, educational and health institutions and other entities seeking to invest the digital transformation in enhancing their performance and increasing their competitiveness.
