What key innovations will you be showcasing at LEAP 2025?
At LEAP 2025, we will be showcasing the latest in AI and hybrid infrastructure solutions. This will include our newly expanded portfolio in AI-ready servers and storage solutions for efficiently managing high-performance workloads across a wide array of industries. These innovations further aim at equipping enterprises with what is needed to drive AI toward better decision-making and operational efficiency. This integration of the latest technologies empowers organisations to process data at speed and with accuracy, unlocking new opportunities in growth and innovation.
Apart from AI solutions, we will also showcase our innovative Neptune liquid cooling technology, which is a game-changer for efficiency and sustainability. This liquid cooling solution reduces energy consumption while improving thermal management; hence, it is ideal to address the ever-growing demands for AI and high-performance computing workloads. We are committed to helping businesses meet both technological and environmental goals by offering a complete suite of solutions that address performance and sustainability.
Saudi Arabia is investing heavily in emerging technologies as part of its national agenda. How are you contributing to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals?
We are proud to contribute toward the Saudi Arabian Vision 2030 by aligning ourselves with the strategic goals of the Kingdom in digital transformation and economic diversification. Our work on advanced AI and cloud solutions enables a strong technological infrastructure that will allow local businesses and entities to innovate and grow in an increasingly changing digital landscape. We cooperate with key stakeholders in Saudi Arabia on enhancing the technological capabilities of many industries, including healthcare, education, and smart cities, to ensure an enabling environment for sustainable growth and development.
Lenovo is also proud to support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 through our strategic partnership with Alat. This collaboration, involving a $2 billion investment, will establish our regional headquarters in Riyadh and build a sustainable manufacturing facility producing millions of PCs and servers annually. By leveraging local research and development teams, we aim to create ‘Saudi Made’ products, contributing to economic diversification and job creation in the Kingdom. Our efforts will also focus on sustainability and innovation, utilising Saudi Arabia’s green energy resources. This partnership also marks a significant step in our commitment to the Middle East and Africa region.

As AI technology continues to evolve, we see it playing a transformative role in reshaping Saudi Arabia’s tech ecosystem. Our solutions are designed to facilitate smarter, data-driven decision-making, allowing businesses to unlock new insights and opportunities. We work together with local partners and stakeholders on developing the enabling environment within which AI will flourish, as part of the vision of the Kingdom to be the regional hub of technology and innovation. Our commitment leads us to support the journey of Saudi Arabia toward a digitally empowered future.
With cloud adoption growing in the Middle East, how is your company addressing data sovereignty and cybersecurity challenges?
It’s highly critical that issues related to data sovereignty and cybersecurity be taken very seriously, both to assure secure use of this technology and appropriate application. Our approaches will offer more security with localised cloud solutions in conformance to the regionally evolving regulations of data protection standards. By closely collaborating with the relevant regulatory bodies and leading the industry forward, we secure the utmost state of security and compliance of our cloud offerings, gaining customer confidence in the move to the cloud.
We have forged strategic relationships with leading cybersecurity providers to be able to offer strong protection on all platforms for added security of data. Advanced security features, including encryption, threat detection, and access controls in our solutions, mean that data will stay secure at all times. This focus on data sovereignty and cybersecurity will give enterprises in the Middle East confidence to adopt cloud technologies full of assurance of security over their most critical assets.
How is your company integrating sustainability into its tech solutions to support global net-zero goals?
Sustainability forms the cornerstone of our technological solutions and is our firm commitment toward ecological responsibility across our operations. For instance, our Neptune liquid cooling technology helps decrease energy usage by a considerable percentage while improving the management of thermals in the data centres. As such, it helps them achieve a more ecological footprint in relation to energy utilisation toward achieving the globally recognised Net-Zero Goals. Besides this, the technology will help enable sustainable IT operations while providing companies with a way to meet the growing demands of AI and high-performance computing without compromising on their commitment to environmental responsibility.
Beyond product innovations, we are committed to driving the circular economy within our supply chain and manufacturing. We focus on the use of recycled materials, sustainable packaging, and are always seeking ways to minimise waste and resource consumption. But beyond that, sustainability is a principle that guides not only our partnership but also a collaborative way to develop solutions that drive environmental benefits. Putting sustainability into our technology solutions will enable our customers’ own ambitions for sustainability and create a better world for all.
