CyberArk, the identity security company, will put the spotlight on proliferating human and machine identities, in addition to largely unrecognised potential threats from ‘transhuman’ hackers – malign actors who have modified their bodies with implants capable of compromising networks and devices – at the Impact World Tour in Dubai this month.
With human and machine identities set to triple in the region over the next year and 40 per cent of machine identities estimated to have access to sensitive data, according to CyberArk’s recent Identity Security Threat Landscape report, the Impact World Tour event, which takes place on February 20, aims to raise awareness of these challenges while offering insights on how organisations can protect themselves.
The event will also shed light on largely-unknown and overlooked security threats, including the ability of ‘transhumans’ – people who have modified their bodies with surgically implanted technology – to bypass conventional security measures and compromise systems including at airports, government offices, and research facilities.
CyberArk’s technical evangelist, Len Noe, a white hat hacker with 10 microchips implanted in his body, will offer unique insights into these threats, explaining how he has used a variety of implanted chips to ethically compromise networks and reveal vulnerabilities in numerous locations. In his talk, titled ‘A Cyborg Odyssey’, Noe will also share details of his journey from being a high-school hacker to a transhuman technical evangelist and author whose mission is to protect the world from malicious attacks.
CyberArk Impact World Tour will also include keynotes, panel discussions and workshops on identity security with experts including Rich Turner, President, EMEA Sales, CyberArk; David Higgins, Senior Director, Field Technology Office, CyberArk; Petropoulos Dimitrios, Partner, Cyber, KPMG, and Steven Mustafa, Partner Solutions Architect, EEM, AWS.
CyberArk will also offer insights into its range of solutions dedicated to helping organisations manage machine identities. These include CyberArk CORA AI, a set of AI-powered capabilities embedded across its identity security platform.
CyberArk Impact World Tour will take place at Palace Downtown Hotel, Dubai on February 20.
