D-Link Corporation has introduced two new enterprise-grade access points, the DAP-X3060 and DAP-X3060OU, aimed at improving network performance with the latest Wi-Fi 6 technology. The new models are designed for both indoor and outdoor use and offer enhanced speed, reduced latency, and increased efficiency for business networks.
The DAP-X3060 and DAP-X3060OU feature dual-band Wi-Fi 6 capability, supporting maximum wireless speeds of up to 2402 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 574 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. According to D-Link, the devices offer a 25% increase in speed by moving from 256-QAM to 1024-QAM modulation, resulting in faster data transfer rates compared to older Wi-Fi standards.
Both access points are equipped with 2×2 MU-MIMO (Multi-User, Multiple Input, Multiple Output) technology, band steering, and beamforming, which help optimize network performance by managing multiple connections and reducing interference. A 2.5-Gigabit Power over Ethernet (PoE) LAN port is also included for improved backhaul capabilities, simplifying installation by providing power and data through a single cable.
The DAP-X3060 is designed for indoor environments, with ceiling and wall-mount options for flexible placement. The DAP-X3060OU, built for outdoor use, comes with an IP68-certified weatherproof housing, offering protection against extreme weather conditions, including temperatures from -30°C to 60°C, dust, and water.
Both models are compatible with D-Link’s Nuclias Connect on-premises network management platform. Nuclias Connect allows businesses to monitor, manage, and scale their networks without additional complexity or cost.
The DAP-X3060 and DAP-X3060OU are now available through D-Link’s network of authorized distributors and resellers globally.
