Saudi Arabia is investing heavily in emerging technologies as part of its national agenda. How are you contributing to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals?
Ericsson is driving digital transformation in Saudi Arabia through strategic partnerships and innovative solutions. In the past year, we collaborated with stc Group to implement Automated Radio Resource Partitioning on a 5G standalone network slice, achieving a world first in 5G Advanced capabilities. Additionally, we recently partnered with Mobily to trial AI-powered 5G uplink interference Optimiser for enhanced network performance. These initiatives reflect our commitment to enhancing telecommunications in the Kingdom while improving 5G mobile connectivity and user experiences throughout Saudi Arabia.
How do you see Saudi Arabia’s role in shaping the future of technology in the MENA region?
Saudi Arabia is poised to lead the MENA region’s technological future due to its strong investment in emerging technologies and digital infrastructure. As a key player in the region, Saudi Arabia’s commitment to initiatives like Vision 2030 positions it as a hub for innovation and collaboration. Ericsson’s partnership with government entities and local partners like stc, Zain, Mobily, and more will further drive this transformation, maximising the potential of technologies like 5G and AI to boost economic development and connectivity.
What do you aim to achieve at LEAP 2025?
We aim to showcase our innovative technologies and demonstrate their impact on building a sustainable, connected future for Saudi Arabia and beyond. We will engage with industry leaders through panel discussions, live demonstrations, and our Tech Insights podcast. Our objective is to highlight the transformative power of connectivity in various sectors while reinforcing our commitment to enhancing digital infrastructure and delivering tailored solutions for customers.
