On January 30th, NVIDIA is upgrading DLSS once again with the release of DLSS 4, featuring DLSS Multi Frame Generation for GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards and laptops, and upgrades to all other DLSS technologies. 75 DLSS games and apps featuring Frame Generation can be upgraded to DLSS Multi Frame Generation on GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs via the NVIDIA app. Others will be updated with native in-game support for DLSS Multi Frame Generation.
Five new games are launching soon that players can accelerate and enhance with NVIDIA’s suite of AI-powered DLSS technologies, including Eternal Strands, Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel, Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap, and Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O.
In Eternal Strands, gamers play as Brynn, a young but fearless Weaver, determined to recover her people’s cultural home. Armed with powerful magical abilities and an arsenal of magical weapons in Eternal Strands, face enemies that range from humanoid constructs to towering beasts. This debut fantasy action-adventure title from Yellow Brick Games launches on January 28. It will run in the highest detail level thanks to day-one support for DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation. With NVIDIA Reflex, PC latency is reduced, making gameplay more responsive. If frame rates are already high, activate DLAA to enhance image quality.
Grindstone, Games Farm and ARTillery’s Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel is a new roguelike horde-survivor game available now in Early Access. Players can step into the dark realm of Norse mythology as one of four heroes and prove themselves worthy by battling through waves of mythical adversaries. Activate DLSS Super Resolution on GeForce RTX graphics cards and laptops to accelerate frame rates in frantic battles.
The newest chapter of the critically acclaimed Orcs Must Die! franchise, Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap combines chaotic third-person combat with a devious trap-laying strategy. Gamers can enjoy endless replayability as their War Mage grows stronger with every battle. To ensure their frame rates are as fast as possible when battling the hundreds of on-screen Orcs, Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap will launch on January 28 with day-one support for DLSS Super Resolution and DLAA.
Entertaining fighting game fans since 1993, the innovative Virtua Fighter franchise is back on January 28 with the launch of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O., from SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. Challenge the greatest fighters in the world in the ultimate remaster of the classic 3D fighter, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O, now featuring Rollback netcode support, 4K graphics, and all the bone-crunching, martial arts combat of the renowned original.
