The Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA) has announced the adoption of digital twin technology for its housing projects. The cutting-edge approach leverages 3D real-time visualisation, offering an immersive and interactive experience for potential homeowners.
In collaboration with NNTC, a digital twin technology firm in the UAE, ADHA has integrated advanced tools such as Unreal Engine 5 and NVIDIA’s DLSS technology. This integration allows users to explore the internal and external layouts of over 3,000 houses in stunning detail. The system also incorporates Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to provide comprehensive housing details, streamlining the viewing and booking processes.
Accessible through digital kiosks at the ISKAN Abu Dhabi Center and the ISKAN Abu Dhabi app, this solution consolidates all services under one smart platform. Users can virtually tour residential complexes, examine infrastructure and facilities, and interactively select and book their preferred housing options.
Hamad Hareb Al Muhairi, Director General of ADHA, emphasised the significance of this technological advancement: “We aim to enhance our customers’ experience and empower them to make informed decisions regarding their housing needs through these modern technologies.”
Dmitry Doshaniy, General Director of NNTC, highlighted the transformative impact of the system: “This partnership with ADHA sets new standards in the housing sector, providing a qualitative shift and an interactive experience for housing selection.”
This initiative is part of ADHA’s ongoing efforts to adopt innovative technologies, aligning with Abu Dhabi’s digital goals and enhancing customer experiences. The latest version of the ISKAN Abu Dhabi smart app now serves as a comprehensive digital platform for all ADHA services.
