D-Link has launched its new 10G Layer 3 Stackable Managed Switches, the DXS-3410-32XY and DXS-3410-32SY. These switches are designed to meet the increasing demands of SMB/SME core network infrastructures. They offer advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 functionalities, aimed at providing high performance, flexibility, and security.
The DXS-3410 series supports multi-gigabit Ethernet and SFP+/SFP28 network connections, featuring 10G copper/fiber downlink ports and 25G fiber uplink ports. This series can stack up to 9 physical units or 32 virtual units, simplifying network management by treating multiple devices as a single IP.
For management, the switches include traffic shaping for bandwidth optimisation during peak usage and L2 multicast support for IPTV applications. The G.8032 ERPS functionality offers millisecond-level recovery, ensuring efficient network protection. The series also includes IEEE 802.1Qbb Priority-based Flow Control (PFC) for lossless data transmission and zero-touch provisioning for easy deployment.
Security features of the DXS-3410 series include D-Link’s Safeguard Engine, various authentication mechanisms, access control lists (ACLs), and port security.
The DXS-3410-32XY and DXS-3410-32SY are available through D-Link’s global network of authorised distributors and resellers. More details can be found on the D-Link website.
