Ring has participated in Gitex this year to reiterate its commitment to the region in providing neighbourhood security products. The company intends to expand across the Gulf and African markets both in terms of geographical footprint and extension of existing product lines.
Mohammad Meraj Hoda, vice president, Business Development, Middle East and Africa, Ring says, “We have made significant enhancements to our existing product lines around neighbourhood security. In addition to showcasing our latest suite of smart home security products, we are also introducing our first indoor camera at Gitex this year.”
The company is showcasing the Ring Video Doorbell 2, Ring Video Doorbell Pro, Video Doorbell Elite, Ring Floodlight Cam and the new Ring Spotlight Cam Battery at its booth this year. “Our aim is to provide customers in the region with all rounded products that secure their home and neighbourhood perimeters. Further, these products can be controlled remotely through an app, which is not only simple to install but allows customers to share incidents with the neighbourhood community easily.”
Commenting on their second participation at the regional technology event, Hoda adds, “Gitex is a great platform, second to none in the region. Partners add immense value to our business by exposing our portfolio to a wide range of customers through their strong in-country presence. With this year’s participation, we have not only reconnected with existing partners but have exposed our products to a lot of prospective partners and customers from different parts of the region. The response to our participation has been huge and we will keep returning to this event for sure.”
Hoda further stresses on the company’s plans to expand across the Gulf markets and beyond. “The South African subcontinent shows a lot of promise and our next focus is to build a base there before we enter into East and West African markets too.”
