Dynatrace announced it has achieved the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security Competency. By earning this competency, Dynatrace has demonstrated expertise in helping its customers proactively remediate vulnerabilities and defend against threats across their AWS environments. The Dynatrace® platform’s application security capabilities include runtime vulnerability analytics, providing real-time detection and prioritisation of vulnerabilities that present a significant risk in production environments; runtime application protection, which detects and blocks application attacks, like SQL injection, command injection, and JNDI attacks; and security analytics, enabling threat hunting and real-time detection and incident response. These capabilities, combined with the Dynatrace platform’s Davis® AI and extensive automation capabilities, enable customers to proactively mitigate risks and automate remediation so they can deliver innovation with confidence.
Achieving the AWS Security Competency builds on Dynatrace’s relationship with AWS, as reflected in its existing AWS Competency designations, including the AWS Cloud Operations Competency, AWS Government Competency, AWS Migration and Modernisation Competency, AWS Machine Learning in Applied AI Competency, AWS Container Competency, and AWS DevOps Competency.
“Dynatrace and AWS play a pivotal role in optimising the performance of our digital services while maintaining a high level of security and cost efficiency,” said Luca Domenella, Head of Cloud Operations and DevOps at Soldo. “As our cloud environment continues to scale, our teams naturally encounter increasing complexity and heightened risk. Dynatrace provides us with unparalleled insight into our digital ecosystem, allowing us to proactively identify and remediate vulnerabilities in real time. This level of precision not only saves us valuable time but also ensures that our customers’ sensitive data remains safe. With Dynatrace, we can confidently focus on delivering the best possible digital experience to our customers, knowing that our cloud environment is protected against emerging threats.”
AWS is enabling scalable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions from startups to global enterprises. AWS established the AWS Competency Programme to support the seamless integration and deployment of these solutions and help customers identify AWS Partners with deep industry experience and expertise. The AWS Security Competency allows customers to select validated AWS Partner Network (APN) members who provide technology that helps organisations adopt, develop, and deploy complex security solutions on AWS. Partners with an AWS Security Competency have deep technical expertise with security in AWS and proven customer success securing the cloud journey with their software and services offerings.
“Securing our customers’ cloud environments is our top priority as they face a rapidly evolving threat landscape and risk of cyberattacks,” said Steve Tack, SVP of Product Management at Dynatrace. “We are proud to have achieved the AWS Security Competency. This recognition reinforces our position as a trusted AWS partner and is a testament to our AI-powered approach to identifying, blocking, and investigating vulnerabilities in hybrid and multicloud environments. It further motivates us to continue helping our customers accelerate cloud migration and transformation with confidence.”
